New Monkeypox Travel Guidelines for Indonesia

Following the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration of Monkeypox as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, the Indonesian government has implemented a new health pass requirement for all international travelers entering Indonesia to help prevent the spread of Mpox.  

As of 27 August 2024, all travelers from abroad, regardless of nationality, are now required to complete the SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP) before their arrival. This electronic form collects vital health information to help authorities identify any potential health risks.

How to complete the SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP)

1. Access the SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP) form at https://sshp.kemkes.go.id
2. Fill in the required health information within 48 hours of your departure flight.
3. After submitting the form, you will receive a QR code. Make sure to print the QR code or save it on your mobile device.
4. Upon arrival in Indonesia, present the QR code to the immigration staff for a smooth and efficient entry process.

If you encounter any challenges while completing the SSHP form, rest assured that assistance is readily available. Health Quarantine Center staff at all Indonesian airports are on hand to help travelers with the process.

Bali's New Tourist Entry Fee

Starting 14 February 2024, all foreign visitors landing in Bali will be required to pay a tourist entry fee of IDR 150,000 (USD 10) per person. The new entry fee will be charged in addition to the existing Visa on Arrival (VOA) fee of IDR 500,000 (USD 33) for VOA-eligible countries, and is applicable to all travelers, including children. To ensure a smooth and efficient entry, we strongly recommend settling this in advance through the designated e-payment portal, https://lovebali.bali.go.id or through the Love Bali app from Play Store or App Store.
