Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Marrakech
Upon arrival in Marrakech you will be welcomed by your guide and then transferred to your hotel for a welcome drink.
Marrakech is the main city of the south, also known as “the red city” due to the colours of the buildings. Founded by the Almoravid Berbers of the Western Sahara in 1062, it is one of the world’s great cities, a place of legend and popularity that still manages to remain charged with mystery. The surrounding countryside, the flat plains, the High Atlas Mountains - all provide an unforgettable backdrop to one of the most sophisticated cities in Africa.
If you wish, an optional horse carriage ride can be arranged for you before dinner.

Day 2 - Marrakech
For the golfers:
After breakfast transfer to Amelkis Golf Club. Clubs can be provided. After a briefing, head out on to the fairway to enjoy this challenging course. Have a short drink and snack break at the 9th hole. Lunch will be served at the clubhouse.
For non-golfers:
After breakfast, you will have a full day to discover the mysteries of Marrakech, visiting many historical sights and monuments including
the Ben Youssef Medersa (Koranic school), one of the jewels of Marrakech.
You will also see the Qoubba Almoravides, the ablution center for believers going to the mosque. The complex was also one of the first fountains of the town and used to ensure the water supply for the inhabitants of Marrakech and their animals.
Walk through the old medina and labyrinthine souks; this maze of colorful alleys and small squares is home to a bewildering number of stalls and ateliers devoted to specific crafts. Lunch will be taken in the medina.
Emerging from this maze, you find yourself in the famous Djemaa el Fna, the city’s main square. No one is really certain how it came into being, but over the years the square has become the beating heart of Marrakech.
Right in front of the square you will find the Koutubia Mosque. Built in the 12th century, the Koutoubia minaret is the most perfect Islamic religious structure in North Africa and went on to inspire the architects of the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat. This famous landmark dominates the local skyline and can easily be spotted from all of Marrakech.
Take a tour of the famous El-Badi and the Bahia Palaces, which give a good idea of how the privileged used to live.
After the hustle and bustle of the busy medina, take a horse drawn carriage to visit Marrakech’s most beautiful gardens, the Marjorelle and Menara Gardens.
