Day 1 - Arrival and Highlights of Rio de Janeiro

On arrival at Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG), clear customs and immigration before collecting your luggage. Meet and greet your local tour director at the arrivals hall.

During your private transfer to your hotel, the local guide will provide some introductory information about the Marvelous City of Rio de Janeiro.

Since its Art Deco doors swung open in 1923, Belmond Copacabana Palace has been welcoming the rich and famous and is considered by many to be the most glamorous hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

This elegant five-star hotel offers lavish rooms complete with marbled bathrooms and panoramic ocean views. Soak up the sun by the magnificent pool or join Brazil’s style setters at the Piano Bar. Be sure not to miss the hotel’s top restaurants, whether for great local dishes or fine Italian dining at the Hotel Cipriani Restaurant.

In the afternoon, enjoy a privately guided excursion, with an English-speaking guide to Sugar Loaf Mountain. On the way there, enjoy a scenic drive to Praia Vermelha, in the Urca neighborhood.

To reach Sugar Loaf peak, ride a cable car to the top of Urca Hill to the gardens and lookout points over Guanabara Bay. Here, appreciate Rio’s unique landscape. Afterwards, take a second cable to the Sugar Loaf peak, nearly 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level. The views of the beaches, the Bay, the hills, and the harbor are breathtaking from this vantage point.

On the way back, pass by the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema, Arpoador, Copacabana Fortress, Copacabana beach, Leme Beach, and Vermelha Beach overlooking Sugar Loaf.

Then, top it all off with a 12-minute helicopter ride, which will allow you to experience the views of Rio de Janeiro from above, a trendy and unforgettable adventure that will remember forever.

Day 2 - Enjoy a Private Boat Sail

Enjoy your breakfast and depart for a special boat tour.

Experience the view of the city from the calm waters of Guanabara Bay. On board a private boat, you will be able to see the most beautiful sights of Rio from the distance of the sea and get a different perspective of the city.

Remember to bring your swimsuit, as there will be a stop for swimming.

Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of your day in leisure.

Day 3 - New Year’s Eve Party

After the tropical breakfast at the Copacabana Palace Pergula Restaurant, enjoy the morning your own way. Our suggestion: a short walk by the sea or around the hotel enjoying the streets empty of any cars.

In the evening, Belmond Copacabana Palace will host the city’s most sought-out and luxurious New Year’s Eve party.
Enjoy the festivity from the comfort of the hotel with panoramic views over the beach. The event features live music, local and international food, as well as plenty of cocktails, champagne, coconut water, or whatever quenches your thirst during the celebration.

Head to the VIP balconies, overlooking the millions of spectators on the beach for the apex of the evening, at midnight, the traditional fireworks show starts with the exquisite view of Copacabana.

Day 4 - Explore Rio de Janeiro
