Day 1: Arrive Launceston – Bridport
Transfer to Barnbougle Golf Links Resort, one of Australia’s top golf destinations and enjoy 18 holes at The Dunes, rated #2 golf course in Australia and #35 in the world. Carved out of an extraordinary coastline, Barnbougle is a true golfing treasure.
Overnight: Lost Farm Lodge
Day 2: Bridport
Bridport. Today, enjoy 18 holes at Lost Farm, Barnbougle’s second course. Just a short pitching wedge across the river from The Dunes, Lost Farm promises a thrilling challenge for golfers of all levels. After your game, journey to the impeccably-restored Quamby Estate just outside Launceston. This charming mid-1800s homestead is your starting point for the Bay of Fires hike.

Day 3: Bay of Fires
Meet your guides over breakfast. Head to Mt William National Park to begin the walk at Stumpy’s Bay, where sweeping views north to the Bass Strait Islands provide a taste of the iconic wilderness to come. Wind around secluded sandy beaches and rocky headlands while your guide regales you with local anecdotes. Arrive at Forester Beach Camp tucked away in secluded dunes. Take a dip, explore the dunes or simply relax with a glass of wine as your guide prepares a gourmet dinner (Walking approx 9km, 4 hours).

Day 4: Bay of Fires
Continue south today and marvel at the contrast of the blazing orange granite rocks and pristine beaches with dazzling blue waters. Lunch in a sheltered cove on the way to Eddystone Point Lighthouse. Traverse hidden coves and spy native animals on the marsupial lawns. Trek the final stretch of beach to arrive at the architect-designed Bay of Fires Lodge. Find your spot on the deck for a warm footbath and a cold beverage or two (Walking approx 14km, 7 hours).

Day 5: Bay of Fires
Explore your way today. Spend an idyllic morning kayaking on Ansons River and a stroll over the dunes. Relax and watch dolphins head out into the Tasman Sea. Or pamper yourself with a treatment at the lodge’s eco-spa overlooking the Bay of Fires. Later, a feast with fellow trekkers of Tasmanian produce matched with fine local beer and wine.

Day 6: Launceston
Explore nearby beaches and headlands, sink into the outdoor tub, or curl up with a book from the lodge’s library. Later, venture through the fragrant eucalypt forests and coastal heathland before returning to Quamby Estate (Walking approx 4km,1 hour).
