Hotel overview
COMO The Treasury is an elegant urban hotel located within Cathedral Square, in the heart of Perth. Standing alongside the iconic St George’s Cathedral, the hotel is housed in the 19th century State Buildings which played an important role in Perth’s history, serving as a post office, land titles office and state treasury.
A meticulous restoration has revealed a grand Victorian-era façade, while contemporary style permeates the 48 rooms and suites. Accommodation is large, with rooms ranging from 55 square meters to 120 square meters. Each functions as a serene retreat decorated in beige and white, with limed oak furniture, pale travertine, and bronze and leather trim.
Dining options include the rooftop restaurant Wildflower serving a menu revolving around the indigenous six seasons, and Post, an all-day osteria serving Italian classics, while the Treasury Lounge and Bar provide an elegant location for afternoon tea and evening drinks. Well-being is at the core of the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape where guests can enjoy a comprehensive range of holistic therapies as well as a pool and gym.

City rooms
The City Rooms are an average size of 55 meters squared and feature a custom-made king or twin beds, an in-room private bar, LED TV, laptop-size private safe, Wi-Fi Internet access, Illy coffee and tea making facilities, an electronic translucent sheer and blackout curtains, a built-in wardrobe and views that overlook Perth’s cityscape or The Treasury courtyard.
Heritage Rooms
The 60 meter squared Heritage Rooms feature all that the City Rooms do above, as well as a larger living and bedroom area and with views of either Cathedral Square, Stirling Gardens or the city.
These rooms also come with a walk-out balcony overlooking Cathedral square and are 55 meters squared in size.
Treasury Rooms
Treasury Rooms are 75 meters squared in size and feature all that the City Rooms do above, as well as a generous sitting area that can accommodate either an additional bed or a cot. These spacious rooms overlook Cathedral Square, Stirling Gardens, the city or the Swan River.
These rooms also come with a balcony and are 70 meters squared in size. These rooms have generous sitting areas and oversized en suite bathrooms.
Studio Suite
The average size of the Studio Suite is 80 meters squared, they have a unique styling with truss ceilings and feature all as the City Rooms above. Two of these rooms have Swan River views.
Treasury Suite
The Treasury Suite is 80 meters squared in size. These two suites feature all as the City Rooms above, as well as a separate sitting room and a fireplace or a truss ceiling.
Como Suite
The Como Suite represents the ultimate in luxury accommodation and is 120 meters squared in size. These Suites overlook the St George Terrace and Stirling Gardens, and feature a living area separate from the bedroom, Swan River Views and feature all as the City Rooms above.
