Giraffe Residence is a boutique wildlife lodge located on the northern edge of Dolly Estate, 4,000 acres of savannah land situated between Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru in Arusha. Set under the shade of indigenous trees and situated in front of a man-made dam means that zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, eland, and other animals wander freely through the grounds. Its six rooms are light, airy and beautifully decked out in handcrafted interiors by artisans across East Africa. There’s plenty to do on the Estate: a round of golf on the 18-hole championship course Kili Golf, polo lessons, horse rides in the estate, or you can simply enjoy leisurely walks through this incredibly beautiful landscape.
