The Constitution of Mexico does not declare an official language; however, Spanish is the de facto national language spoken by over 99% of the population.

We recommend that the quality of service should determine the extent of any gratuity.  For example, if the service received has been excellent, a suggestion of USD 5- 10 per person for the guide for a full-day tour. Please understand that this is a suggestion only: tipping and gratuities are a very personal matter.

Weather

Being Mexico such a large country, with so many climates and natural sceneries, any month of the year is an excellent option to come. And, when booking with A&K you will always have the benefit of a local expert suggesting destinations based on your dates and interests or the other way around. However, as a general suggestion, you may want to consider:
December to April: is the dry season, when there is almost no rain, and pleasant weather to enjoy. During these months, temperatures are 28°C (82°C), on average.
May to October: is the wet season. Although rains are heavier and more evident on the Caribbean Coast, this also makes an excellent opportunity to visit the inner destinations of the country.
