Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Santiago - Easter Island
After your nearly 2,300 miles flying over the Pacific Ocean, you will land at one of the most remote – and enticing – destinations on earth: Easter Island. The grandeur of its enigmatic moai statues is rivaled by its intense natural beauty, with a postcard-worthy view seemingly in every direction.
Discovered in 1722 on Easter Sunday (hence the name), Easter Island is more Polynesian than South American. The 64-square-mile island was annexed by Chile in 1888 and is now famous for the moai, or human-like stone statues (more than 600 of them), that can be found on the island. The moai remains a mystery that archaeologists are still trying to unlock.
Upon arrival at the island’s Mataveri airport, you are welcomed with traditional floral collars and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight: Explora Rapa Nui

Day 2 - Enjoy 2 days on Easter Island
During your stay on Easter Island, discover the past and present of an extraordinarily well-preserved culture, developed in a remote territory now recognized as the world’s largest “open-air museum.” The value of these archaeological treasures was recognized by the world when Easter Island was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. In addition to the cultural and archaeological interest, there are beautiful beaches, transparent waters, and coral reefs that might be expected of a Pacific island. Jacques Cousteau himself agreed that it is one of the most perfect places for underwater marine studies.
Overnight: Explora Rapa Nui

Day 3 - Easter Island - Santiago
Today, spend the morning at leisure perhaps enjoying a short hike or bike ride until you are transferred to the Mataveri airport for a four-hour flight to Santiago. The return flight to Santiago is one hour shorter due to the stronger west-east currents. Upon arrival in the late evening, you are met and transferred to your hotel.
