Lying north of the River Tagus estuary and stretching over seven hills, Portugal’s capital city has much to offer. You will receive a warm welcome at the port by your private guide and driver andfrom here commence your engaging full day (8 hours) tour of Lisbon. Highlights include a visit to the district of Belem to see the magnificent Jerónimos Monastery, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. This area is also home to the splendid Coach Museum in the old Horse Riding Arena of Belem Royal Palace. Containing one of the finest collections of historical carriages in the world, it is well worth a visit! There will be time for lunch at leisure to sample local Portuguese delicacies prior to your visit to the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum to admire its priceless treasures. At the end of your tour you are privately transferred back to your ship.
