I'm a bookworm, I never thought I'd work in the travel industry; I thought I'd become a linguistics researcher! I'm a romantic traveler who loves getting lost in villages and cities, wandering with my head up, discovering hidden gems and the best restaurants, being the true foodie that I am! I'm described as an energy booster for those around me because I'm sunny, creative, and positive. I love hiking in the mountains, feeling the cool breeze on my face, the effort to reach the summit. In fact, during the pandemic, I became an environmental guide. Anyway, a good glass of wine and a fireplace at home in winter are always the right answer to getting ready for new adventures! One of my favourite experiences in Europe is the Camino de Santiago de Compostela because it allows you to meet people from all over the world and truly get to know how people live in the small Spanish villages. I have a great passion for France, and one of my fondest memories is sleeping in a lighthouse during a road trip in Normandy. I love travelling in my country, Italy, and discovering something new every time; it's like Mary Poppins' bag, there's always a surprise! One of my favourite memories? A road trip from Florence, where I live, to Bormio in the Italian Alps for a long weekend of relaxation. During the trip, we made a stop near Parma, in the Food Valley of Italy, at a small restaurant. We were greeted by a lady who was the age of my grandmother. She had just finished preparing the tortellini. It was late, the restaurant was closed, but she let us in and served us the best plate of tortellini we had ever tasted in our lives, even packing some for us to take home after the weekend!
