Day 1 - Marhaba to Marrakech

MARHABA!!! 


This is the traditional greeting used in Morocco which conveys the meaning of a warm hello & welcome.

On arrival into Marrakech airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel or riad for the check in. 

 

Day 2 - Marrakech discovery 

Today, discover the Mysteries of Marrakech.

Start your trip by visiting the Bahia Palace,constructed in 1880 by order of the great vizir Sidi Moussa.

Afterwards, visit the Si Said Museum to admire the ornately decorated weapons, splendidly traditional clothing, homemade copper artefacts and traditional Berber jewelry.

After lunch, you will visit the Ben Youssef Medersa, one of the jewels of Marrakech. The current structure of this Koranic school dates back to around 1570.

Next, prepare yourself to discover the labyrinth of souks and get ready for shopping. This maze of colourful alleys and small squares are home to a bewildering array of stalls and ateliers devoted to specific crafts.

You will end up at the Djemâa el Fna square, where a multitude of street-artists and stalls of dried fruit and orange juice are right before you.

Also admire the Koutoubia mosque which is an emblem of Marrakech. Built in the 12th century, the Koutoubia minaret is the most iconic Islamic religious structure in North Africa.

Day 3 - Marrakech cooking odyssey and gardens

Fancy yourself as a culinary genius? This morning take part in a traditional Moroccan cookery workshop. Here you will learn how to make the perfect Tajine (lamb/ chicken).
The traditional family cook, 'the Dada', will take you through the steps of how to create the impeccable blend of spices in this classic Moroccan dish, explaining the ingredients and techniques along the way. Finally, enjoy the masterpiece you have prepared.

This afternoon enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride. You will start with the Menara Gardens, where tranquility and comparative coolness makes it one of the most pleasant and romantic places for taking a stroll in Marrakech. Planted with olive-trees, some of which are more than 100 years old, the charm of the Menara garden is felt by all those who visit.

Continue to the Majorelle Gardens, created in the 1920's by the French painter Jacques Majorelle. Majorelle is a very unique and special blue and is now a trademark name. It also contains a memorial to the designer Yves Saint Laurent and a museum dedicated to Berber culture.

Day 4 - Marrakech-Essaouire 

Today depart from Marrakech to the calming and enchanting Essaouira, situated on the Atlantic Coast


Stop in Ounagha where you will enjoy a private visit and wine tasting at 'Val d'Argan', a French owned winery.


Continue on to the Blue City, home and inspiration to many Moroccan artists. 


Stay at a beautifully designed riad nestled in the middle of the Medina or at a luxury hotel. Upon your arrival, check in and relax.

Day 5 - A walk in Essaouira

In the morning, discover the history and culture of the Portuguese city of Essaouira, formally named Mogador. 
This quaint town is famed for its white washed exterior medina littered with bright blue doors; a photographers paradise. Calmer and cooler than Marrakech, Essaouria is the ideal place for a stroll to discover the various cultures that influence this coastal town.

Today, we unearth Essaouiras creative quality in the workshops of its artisan workers, located in recesses under the Skala fortress. This fortress is most famous for Orson Wells filming Othelloin 1949.

Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to stroll in the ancient city or enjoy the hotel's pool.

Day 6 - From Essaouira to the mountains discovery

Today discover another side of Morocco, the gorgeous Atlas Mountains, North Africa’s greatest mountain range.

Admire the gorgeous views of the snow carpeted mountains and the little Berber villages nestled on the hills.
You will discover the village of Asni and Imlil at the foothill of the Djebel Toubkal, the highest mountain in the Atlas.

You will then arrive at a Kasbah, check in and rest enjoying the calm and the nature of this place.

Day 7 - Berber Experience

This morning enjoy a unique Berber Experience. Ride on mules to a typical Berber village nestled in the mountain to meet Mohamed and his familyand enjoy a typical Berber breakfast with mint tea and Berber bread. 

You can also enjoy some trekking to discover the beautiful sceneries.


The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy a nice walk or just read a book on a terrace.

Day 8 - Departure

You will drive to Marrakech airport; our representative will assist you during the check-in formalities. 

Clients should be at the airport 2 hours before take-off time.
