Game Drives: Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma is set on the edge of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Here the highly trained safari guides take guests on game drives in custom-built 4 x 4 safari vehicles to experience the land as it was when Livingstone first made his way across the ridge and beheld the smoke that thunders. The park has elephant, impala, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, zebra in large numbers and an exciting array of birds, including some Southern African specials like Peters Finfoot. Guests may also be lucky enough to see a rare sighting of the wild dog that on occasion pass through the park.

Tour of the Victoria Falls: Just a short drive away from the world-famous Victoria Falls, the lodge offers guests a walking tour of The Falls. Excluded in the rate is the Heritage Fee which is payable by guests directly at the lodge when doing a Tour of the Falls.

Sundowner Cruise: A Zambezi River cruise is a great way to spend a few hours before drifting back to the lodge, a warm shower and delicious dinner. Sipping on a cocktail while watching the sunset over the majestic Zambezi River is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Day 4 - Kasane

The day is at leisure to enjoy the activities on offer.

Game Drives: Elephants feature largely on any activity at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero, as the largest population left in Africa occupies this northern corner between Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Game drives in open-sided 4 x 4 vehicles bring these grey giants into easy reach as they drink and frolic at the water's edge in their boisterous herds. Thrilling game drives led by qualified professional guides bring you close to hippos, buffalos, puku and other animals that gather on the banks of the Chobe River. Naturally, lion and leopard are also found in the area.

Sundowner Cruise: The best way to end a day of safari here is sipping on a cocktail while watching an African sunset over the still waters of the Chobe River from the comfort of one of the specially designed riverboats. Sundowner cruises are also a great way of seeing buffalo up close as they come out of the shade to graze in the cooler evenings and elephants as they wade in the river.  Sitatungas - antelope with splayed feet to help them run in swamps - are often seen here, as are the wild dog and lion that prey upon them.

Game Drives: Enjoy up close game viewing with your expert guide on morning and evening game drives in 4 x 4 vehicles. During higher water levels game drives will be combined with motorised boating excursions. (Night drives are seasonal, depending on water levels.

Walking Safaris: Find out how to track and follow even the most elusive of animals in the Okavango. With the camp being set in a private concession, there is the opportunity to get very close on foot in perfect safety with one of the guides.

Mokoro Excursions: One of the best ways to see the wildlife is in one of the locally made dugout canoes, known as mokoros. In one of these traditional crafts it is possible to float around the waterways and lagoons that make up the delta. This gentle and informative mode of safari is unique to the river Bushmen.

The main area houses a bar, curio shop, library reception and dining area. For a rejuvenating pampering session, choose from a range of treatments at the camp's treatment room.
